Growing up, I had severe asthma & allergies. The numerous colds I got every year always led to multiple bouts of pneumonia & bronchitis. I couldn’t laugh too hard without needing to use my inhaler. My skin was always so irritated & itchy. Looking back, I really can’t believe that that was my normal. 

About 8 years ago when I got pregnant with my oldest daughter, Rosie, I was terrified. I didn’t want her childhood to be overtaken by sickness, medication, & doctor’s appointments like I was. I knew I had to be proactive, so I took a nose dive into researching all things health. I dipped my toes into the toxin free movement, but at only 18 years old, I got overwhelmed super quickly. At that point, I thought if I product said it was “100% natural” or “non-toxic” than it was safe for my precious baby! When Rosie was 15 months old, we found out we were expecting our second daughter Lilah! We moved from our hometown of Los Angeles, to rural eastern Ohio. Talk about a huge change. 

After Lilah was born, my toxin free journey progressed even more. I spent all my late night nursing sessions reading safety studies & researching every ingredient I could. I was shocked at how confusing & not easily accessible all the information was! I realized I was using a tonnnn of greenwashed/cleanwashed products (products claiming to use clean ingredients, but still using ingredients detrimental to our health.) As we ran out of products, I began replacing them with the safest option I could find.

18 months after Lilah was born, we welcomed our 3rd daughter Tessa into the family! We had an amazing homebirth, despite her being posterior & 9lbs 9ozs. I was now almost 22, with 3 daughters under 3.5. My husband worked extremely long hours & we lived across the country from family. I found so much purpose in motherhood, but I craved more. 

One day in May of 2019, I stumbled upon a business opportunity with a super small, toxin free, cosmetics company named Crunchi. I was blown away by their standards, the ingredients, the packaging, the performance, literally everything! I had no idea what I was doing, but said a very scared YES to partnering with them! I was determined to help as many women reduce their body burden as possible. 

I can hardly believe that that was almost 3 years ago! Thanks to Crunchi, my husband is now a stay at home dad! We enjoy family time alllll the time which is so important to me.

My goal has remained the same - to educate & make your toxin free transition as simple as possible! I know how overwhelming it can be to want to make better choices, but not knowing where to start!
